I am in love with the high waste of these pants as well as the metallic material. The fabric seems well constructed and durable to last a while. Now when I bend down I won’t have to worry about feeling exposed in the back. It serves as the perfect opportunity to dig out cropped shirts. And of course I paired my favorite pants with my favorite pair of strappy wedges. These has to be ones of the coolest pair of shoes I own.

So as I’m online pouring over fashion blogs I noticed that many bloggers, ala Rumi Neely, wear American Apparel clothing. Bodysuits, disco pants, Lame? I’m in! I have to visit this store soon. Unfortunately the only AA store in the Virginia area is in Richmond which is 1-2 hours away from me. It’s amazing how other bloggers can awaken a passion for things you never thought you would like such as lace shorts and Rodarte for Target slip dress. The land of dreams awaits aka Ebay.

And you thought disco pants were only meant for the 70’s. Seems like they’ve made a comeback as American Apparel introduces the Disco Pant. As the site describes them they are “form-fitting, high-waist stretch pants made from a heavyweight Nylon/Elastane blend that creates a flattering slimming effect”. Seem tempting right? Form fitting pants always prove to be very alluring. While they run for $82 dollars on the site they have been seem on Ebay for less than the retail price. I don’t know about the rest of you but it’s fatal attraction when it comes to shiny things. I am like a bird who spots something shiny on the ground. I swoop in and instantly grab it from the rack claiming it as my own. Nothing comes between me and all things that sparkle.
